Taxes are your responsibility to pay. Now people hate taxes but let me say my point of view. Taxes are good and they need to be there for the world to function but the bad part is the government ends up wasting money. There are few types of taxes but here are the most common ones:Income, State, Sales. First is income which are brackets from 10-37% so most middle class fall within the 12 and 22 brackets. Wait though a lot of people have this misconception that getting $48000 is worse than $47000 as it changes brackets. No for only less than $1000 you pay 22%. For $36k you will pay 12% and for $11k you will pay 0%. State is 2.5% to 14% mostly 10%. It still depends on your state. Sales is 0% to 12% mostly 6 to 10% so check your state but that is what you pay extra when you buy something.
